Fallen leaves, damp earth and woodsmoke — this one is deep, outdoorsy and ridiculously cosy. It smells like pulling on your coat for a cold walk, leaves crunching underfoot and catching that first little waft of somebody’s fire burning nearby. Then coming home, getting warm and absolutely NOT going back out again.
The message behind this one is a goodie too. We spend so much time trying to get things back simply because we once had them. But sometimes you've just outgrown them. You don't have to go back for everything you've left behind.
