ART IN RESIDENCE Book
Give us a beautiful house filled with extraordinary art, curious objects and things collected over a lifetime, and we could happily spend HOURS looking around.
Art in Residence: Collected Objects and the Architectural Homes They Live In by photographer Nicole England is a glorious look inside some truly remarkable homes, where architecture and art come together in the most fascinating ways.
From a New York loft and a Californian hideaway to a historic London residence and a beach house in Sydney, Nicole takes us behind the doors of homes filled with incredible paintings, sculptures and treasured collections.
And while the architecture is undeniably impressive, it's the ART that really makes these spaces sing. The unexpected pieces, the personal collections, the way a contemporary sculpture sits alongside an antique chair or a bold painting completely transforms a room.
Because there's something so wonderful about a home that tells you exactly who lives there, without anyone having to say a word.
Beautifully photographed and endlessly inspiring, this is one for the art lovers, interiors obsessives and anyone who believes that the things we choose to surround ourselves with are what make a house truly interesting.
